| What is the Plan of Salvation? |
-The first step to salvation is realizing that you are a sinner. God is perfect, you aren't. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)-The next step is realizing that there is only ONE way to heaven - Jesus Christ! And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name (except Jesus) under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.(Acts 4:12) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:16) - Next, you must understand and accept that Christ's death on the cross and his resurrection is FULL PAYMENT for sin and the result is the GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE! Now this is the hard part, to receive this gift you must: life by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.(Romans 6:23) * Realize that to receive this gift, you must turn from your sin and ask Jesus into your life, admit your need (you are a sinner) and be willing to turn from your sin (repent). Repentance is turning away from your sin and turning toward Jesus Christ. Repent and be converted that your sin may be blotted out.(Acts 3:19) * Receive Jesus Christ personally into your life by inviting Him into your heart. |
Four Things you Must Believe!
* You must believe that you have sinned against God. (Romans 3:23) *You must believe that sin seperates you from God. (Romans 6:23) *You must believe that God loves you, even though you are a sinner, and sent His Son to die for your sins.(Romans 5:8) |
One Thing you Must do! *You must by faith and repentance receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10) |
